Please feel free to post a comment in the guest book, Thank you, Dee. About me, Mama Dee Johnston of the Metis Nation. Being adopted for me was wonderful. I grew up with my brother Ed who was a wonderful sibling. But in my life there had always been part of me missing. It was a biological family. In early 2002, my biological family found out about me and tracked me down. They are wonderful! I have four sisters and two brothers. Mabel and Sharon are older than I am, Stephen, lynn, Theresa and David (who passed away as a child) are younger. They opened their arms and welcomed me into the family with love. I'm only sorry we didn't connect 15 yrs. ago Metis sashwhen I first began to search. I would have met my mother, sister who passed.
It's wonderful knowing who I am, part of the who my ancestors were, and our family name, a Métis Nation name. The best part is knowing my brother and sisters, on my Mom's side of the family, and recently, my brother and sisters on my Dad's side of the family. Jeanne, Jan, and Louis Jr. All older than me, I have not met Louis, but both Jeanne and Jan made me welcome into that side of the family. One sister Linda, passed on before I met this side of the family. This site is about me, Mama Dee Johnston and my wonderful family, all proud members of the Metis Nation.
