We had three short years
But yet, a lifetime
You were fiercely protective
But gentle, loving and kind.

You were so warm and loving
You could fix anything at all
From a car or trailer
To something very tiny and small

In the time we had as
Brother and Sister,
You made me feel as if
We had been siblings forever

You will always remain in
Your Sister’s hearts
And now are with
Theresa, David and Mom

So, Sleep well Dear Heart
(your term for those you love)
We all know that you are
In Heaven up above.
